What does traveling mean to you?
The ability to see new places, cultures and experience new things.
Who has been the most important guide in your life?
My mom has been a huge role model in my life. The most important lesson she taught me was to do things for myself. She is the ultimate boss babe and I hope to make an impact on the world the way that she has.
What has been your best adventure?
Climbing to the top of Huayna Picchu, the mountain you see in the classic photo of Machu Picchu. There was no railing and you needed to sign a waiver on your life before you climbed on to the mountain. It took almost 2 hours to get to the top but the view was incredible.
What was your funniest foreign language broken communication moment?
My husband and I put together a Snapfish account of our anniversary trip to Europe. We made the password- Prego- which means thank you in Italian. My in-laws thought we were breaking the news to them that I was pregnant from the password! I changed it right away.
What are you always sure to collect while traveling and why?
We collect pens wherever we travel. We chose pens because they are small, and can easily be transported. We try to find pens that have character and reflect the country.
A song that makes you want to hit the road?
Last year we traveled to Australia and made the trip from Brisbane to a town near Lady Elliot Island. We blasted the soundtrack from The Greatest Showman.
My favorite - This Is Me
The best beach you’ve ever been to?
The beach on Lady Elliot Island is incredible. The water is crystal clear and you can snorkel so see incredible fish.
A favorite quote?
“Be yourself; everyone else is already taken”- Oscar Wilde
A place you dream of one day visiting?
Bali, Indonesia
What is your favorite Scosha piece?
This necklace has so much character but is dainty at the same time. I love the colorful stones and different charms on it.
